The exhibition Cossack weapons and samurai from the private collection of Alexander Feldman

December 23, 2016 in the Museum-Arsenal - the department of the Lviv History Museum (str. Pidvalna 5) the exhibition Cossack and samurai weapons "Way of the Warrior-one for two" from a private collection FELDMAN FAMILY MUSEUM (owner - a collector and philanthropist Alexander Feldman ), supplemented by exhibits from the collections of Lviv History museum.
The opening made by the director of the Lviv History Museum Roman Chmelyk, director FELDMAN FAMILY MUSEUM Alex Artyukhin and senior fellow LIM Andrei Panov, who was the initiator of the exhibition. His skill audience presented the members of the club "Lviv Kendo Kai".
From now on (until 31 March 2017) by the Arsenal Museum will have a wonderful opportunity to meet with 80 interesting exhibits, including: Cossack swords, scimitars, daggers, spearhead and spears, kelepamy, guns, expectations, officers symbols, insignia, pernachamy, shestoper and rings, seals XVI - early XVIII century. The exhibition is presented as samurai weapons, forged the best Japanese artists, including exquisitely decorated with ancient samurai swords.
This comparison Cossack military traditions and samurai helps to better understand and appreciate their own cultural and historical heritage, view it in the context of world history.
